Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 is an open to diffusion roofing underlay. The roofing underlay is installed under the surface layer, on top of the tongued and grooved board. An air gap against the surface is not needed, the roofing underlay is placed directly on the tongued and grooved board. The minimum roof pitch for the roofing underlay is 14°. If the roof is not installed immediately, Bison Nail Tape can be glued under the counter battens for increased safety against rain/moisture. Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 is used together with surface layers of ex. roof tiles or profiled sheeting. It cannot be combined with bitumen based surface membrane and should not be mounted against impregnated wood. The roofing underlay can also be mounted directly on the roof trusses, but please note that it is not trample-proof.

Function
Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 is used to protect the roof structure against rain, snow and wind. The roofing underlay allows unwanted internal water vapor to be transported out through the material while being water and airtight from the outside. The good vapor transport properties of the roofing underlay help to protect against moisture and condensation problems. Free exposure, maximum 2 months.

Material
Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 consists of 3 layers of Polypropylene. The material is UV stabilized.

Benefits
Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 has double adhesive edges, which allows for more secure sealing in case of overlap. The low weight (approx. 175 g/m2) and the large area of the rolls make assembly easy and fast. The roofing underlay complies with fire class: E (B2).

Storage
Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 is stored in unopened packaging or so that it is not exposed to moisture, UV light and heat. Should be pre-stored at >5°C for optimal adhesion of the adhesive edges.
