The exterior of the construction
More information

The nail tape comes into its own when the surface layer (roof) is not installed directly or when clay tile surface layers are used.

Material
Bison Nail Tape is made of polyethylene and has a synthetic rubber adhesive on the back. The nail tape is rainproof and is mainly used under the counter battens to seal around the nails/screws. The nail tape comes into its own when the surface layer (outer roof) is not installed directly or when clay tile surface layers are used. The tape contains no solvents.

Installation
The position of the nail tape will therefore usually be between the counter battens and the roofing underlay (e.g. Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay or Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175). The surface should be clean, dry and free of moisture before the tape is applied.
