More information

Bison VCL is UV and moisture/heat stabilized. IQD 128 means the product is third-party audited, ensuring quality over time.

Use
The Bison VCL is placed on the warm side of the wall or ceiling structure. The vapor control layer is used to air seal and to control water vapor. The vapor control layer works excellently together with Bison House Wrap/ Bison House Wrap Pro (in wall constructions) and also with Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay / Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175 (in roof constructions). Combination of these products creates an optimal relationship between the membrane on the inside and outside.

Bison VCL is more diffusion tight than the housewrap but not as diffusion tight as a conventional Air & Vapor Barrier. This makes it easier for any building moisture to dry out/exhale. With Bison VCL, you build airtight but vapor-open, so that you do not trap any moisture.

Benefits
Bison VCL is suitable for all houses where you want a more forgiving and breathable construction. The properties are particularly well suited to, for example, holiday homes / seasonal accommodation where heating takes place periodically. The vapor control layer is also ideal for structures insulated with organic materials and even in old houses where air and vapor barriers are not suitable.

Storage
Bison VCL is stored in unopened packaging or so that it is not exposed to moisture, heat or UV light.
