The housewrap is used to protect the insulation against wind and thereby ensure that the function of the insulation is not impaired.

Material
Bison House Wrap consists of polypropylene laminated with a polyethylene foil. The material is UV and moisture/heat stabilized. The ageing resistance is at least 50 years. IQD 128 means that the product is third-party audited to ensure quality over time.

Product description
Bison House Wrap is open to diffusion, which means that any moisture can migrate out through the material. The housewrap is windproof and the outside is water-repellent. The housewrap is mounted on the outside of the insulation, inside the surface layer (facade). Bison House Wrap can be combined with Bison VCL on the inside of the construction and you then get a so-called bi-directional vapor transport.

Function
The purpose of the housewrap is to protect the insulation from wind and thereby ensure that the function of the insulation is not impaired. The housewrap also prevents any moisture that may be present behind the facade from reaching the insulation. These properties counteract moisture problems.

Benefits
The low weight (60 g/m2), and the floor-specific width make assembly easy. Bison House Wrap is white and lets light through during construction. The material is elastic and very tear-resistant, which means that it can withstand normal movements in the construction. Fire classification: E (equivalent to B2) is achieved.

Storage
Bison House Wrap is stored in unopened packaging or so that it is not exposed to moisture, heat or UV light.
