Bison VCL ECO

Product description
The vapor control layer is used on the warm side of the wall or ceiling construction. The vapor control layer is used to airproof and to control water vapor. Bison VCL ECO works well with Bison House Wrap and also with Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay/Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay 175. This results in a ratio of more than 5 times as dense on the inside as on the outside of the wall. In the roof, you get a ratio with a membrane more than 10 times as dense on the inside as on the outside. This is in line with the guidelines, which advocate precisely these conditions. (Bison VCL ECO is mounted on the warm side and Bison House Wrap/Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay on the cold side).

Function
Bison VCL ECO is more diffusion tight than the housewrap but not as diffusion tight as a conventional Air & Vapor Barrier. This makes it easier for any building moisture to dry out/exhale. With Bison VCL ECO, you build airtight but vapor-open, so that you do not trap any moisture.

Application
The VCL is suitable for all houses where you want a more forgiving construction that can breathe. The properties are particularly suitable for, for example, holiday homes / seasonal accommodation where heating takes place periodically. The vapor control layer is also ideal for structures insulated with organic materials and even in old houses where air and vapor barriers are not suitable.

Storage
Bison VCL ECO is stored in unopened packaging or so that it is not exposed to moisture and heat.
