Bison Nail Tape

Bison Nail tape is composed of polyethylene and has a rubber based hot-melt adhesive on one side. The nail tape is used primarily under the battens to seal around the nails. At low roof pitches or in long free exposure time, this becomes especially important. Bison Nail Tape prevents moisture penetration around the nail / screw. The placement will thus typically be between nailing battens and Roofing Underlay (ex: Bison Permeable Roofing Underlay). The surface should be clean, dry and free of moisture before the tape is applied.

The tape contains no solvents.
